Your Truest Self
A gender primer that addresses bodies, gender identity (cisgender, transgender, non-binary, and gender-fluid), pronouns, and gender expression. However, none of those big words are used in this resource. Instead, vocabulary is simplified and presented with colourful illustrations where all children can feel represented.
Your Truest Self was reviewed by friends, new and old, who identify as non-binary, genderqueer, transgender, gender fluid, and intersex. Their ideas, opinions, and experiences helped make this book a reality. We thank them for living as their truest selves and supporting a new generation to do the same.
